Phew! We've had a weekend of many goings-on! We were supposed to go to a birthday party for cousin Erin, but the sinus bug continues to rage its ugly head around here! Saturday both boys and myself had sinus problems, which meant we were home bound, using our nebulizer and trying to get everyone back on track for the last week of work before VACATION!!!!

Today we ventured out to see Santa at my Dad's sportsman club. Jacob talked about Ho-Ho the whole ride to the club, once we were there he jumped out of the van and started bravely walking towards the door, friends of ours were coming out of the door and said, "Hi," which prompted Jake to hide in my coat~this is a bit strange of him. Once inside we walked over and looked at Santa, wanting nothing to do with sitting near him or talking. We found Papa and Nonnie sitting at a table waiting for our breakfast order. As we sat Jake watched Santa and decided to wave, after some oh, 6 or so sausages he felt comfortable enough to want to venture over! It was the greatest shot, but true to form our camera took forever to fire the shot and the shot we have is of him leaning away~but he initially snuggled in to Santa!! Elijah wanted nothing to do with this activity, he was content to look from the safe arms of Mommy or Daddy! Poor Baby Boy, once we got home Daddy called the pediatrician and he was on his way for a Sunday visit~looks like he is allergic to the medication he was given for his sinus infection! Lil guy is all rashy...thank goodness for a pediatrician that sees kids on both Saturday and Sunday!

Grammie and Grandpa came to visit and brought us some silly antlers and red blinking noses! We had a fun time wearing them while watching some TV before heading to bed. They wouldn't wear them when G & G were here but once they left it was fun and silly to wear our antlers!

Our last big event of the night was Jacob going "poopey" in the potty!!!! He loves his rolos and that earned him a rolo!!!! Such a big boy!!!

We are hoping for a week of rallying here~good-bye sinus goop, good-bye rashes and Hello Healthy Holidays!
